  2.         [V1.5]  Caller was still being asked if they wanted New profiles since
  3.                 last logon. Hopefully we have it fixed this time.

  5.                 If you did not supply the Profile CFG file name on the command 
  6.                 line when executing PROFMANT, you were presented with an error
  7.                 message that you would not understand. A better message is now
  8.                 presented, along with an example execution entry.
  9.  
  10.                 If the last user in the database had a picture attached and a 
  11.                 new user was added to the database, the new user profile would 
  12.                 pick up the picture name of the last user.

  15.         [v1.4]  If you place a file called WELCOME in the Profile directory, it
  16.                 will be displayed IMMEDIATELY following the opening screen.

  18.                 In an effort to help with the user inputting random characters 
  19.                 (!@#$%, etc) we have added an OPTIONAL file called CHAR.OK. The 
  20.                 file will contain ONLY VALID CHARACTERS you wish to allow the 
  21.                 caller to use when responding to the questions. If the file, 
  22.                 CHAR.OK, is not found in the PROFILE directory, no checking 
  23.                 will take place. We have included a sample file containing 
  24.                 valid Alpha and Numeric values.

  26.                 When viewing an individual Profile, the caller will no longer 
  27.                 be asked if the want New profiles since last logon.

  30.         [v1.3]  To help eliminate the use of language that may be offensive to 
  31.                 other callers, we have now allowed for the creation of a TRASH 
  32.                 CAN file (PROFTCAN.DAT). You would fill this file with words 
  33.                 that you do NOT want to allow the caller to enter in response 
  34.                 to ANY of the questions. See DOCs for more information.

  36.                 With this version we introduce a new feature that allows for 
  37.                 the attachment, and subsequent downloading, of a PICTURE file.
  38.                 The Caller uploads the picture (any format(s) you desire), you
  39.                 'attach' it to the caller's profile vai the PROFMAINT program.
  40.                 REQUIRES: PROTOCOL.DAT file (included) AND protocol BATCH
  41.                           files found in PROBATCH.ZIP

  43.                 Sysop will now have the ability to EDIT ANY PROFILE. A SYSOP 
  44.                 option will appear on the main menu when the Sysop is using 
  45.                 the Door.

  47.                 When the (V)iew option is chosen the caller will have the 
  48.                 option of displaying the profiles in a DETAILED or SUMMARY 
  49.                 fashion. If the SUMMARY option is chosen the caller can chose 
  50.                 the one(s) they wish to have displayed in DETAIL.

  53.         [v1.2]  Eliminated the 'ANSI not detected....' message since there are
  54.                 a few communications packages out there that give off their
  55.                 own type of ANSI.

  57.                 If using the TRIBBS.SYS system file, the door always presented
  58.                 the opening screen in black and white. Will now be presented
  59.                 in color.
  60.  
  61.                 The Door knows that the caller is the Sysop, if the caller is
  62.                 record #1 in the BBS' user database. The BBS software passes
  63.                 that record number to the door via the system file. Some BBS
  64.                 software does not pass the actual record number but passes a
  65.                 relative number (ie: record #1 is passed as record #0). If the
  66.                 number being passsed is 0, the Door will not know it is the
  67.                 Sysop calling. We will now recognize the caller as the Sysop
  68.                 if their record number is 0 or 1.

  70.                 When displaying user profiles you are asked if you wish to
  71.                 continue or Exit after each profile is displayed. If you
  72.                 replied 'e' your response would be ignored, as it was looking
  73.                 for an uppercase response. This has been fixed to allowed
  74.                 upper OR lowercase responses.

  76.                 When viewing profiles, and the caller chooses to view ALL, the 
  77.                 caller will be asked if they wish to view only NEW/UPDATED 
  78.                 profiles since the caller's last time in the door.
  79.  
  80.                 With this version you will be able to supply a user's name on 
  81.                 the Command line, and the program will search for that user's 
  82.                 record, display it and return to the BBS. The best way to use 
  83.                 this option, which may not be adaptable to every BBS software 
  84.                 system, is to have a an entry on the main menu (call it PROFILE)
  85.                 and using script type languages, ask the caller for a name to
  86.                 look for. You would then pass that name to the PROFILE command
  87.                 line. After displaying the caller's profile the caller will be
  88.                 taken back to the BBS. See PROFILE.DOC for more information.

  90.                 Added an option to the Profile maintenance program that allows 
  91.                 the Sysop to reset the answers to all questions in all user 
  92.                 records. When the caller next accesses the door, he/she will be 
  93.                 forced to re-answer the questions. In addition they will be 
  94.                 presented with an ASCII text file that should be used to 
  95.                 explain why the caller is being asked to re-answer the 
  96.                 questions (if the file is not found nothing will be displayed).

  102.                a new questionaire to fill out.
